Manga Art

The art in manga can vary. One great thing about manga is that there is never such a thing as bad art. Different artist use different ways of drawing, those are reffered to as styles. An artists’ style is a lot like a students’ handwriting. You can mimic it, but you always have your own. Most artists start out by mimicking a famous manga-ka’s style, before they have their own. My friend Ryan imitates the style from a racing manga called GTO, by Tohru Fujisawa. Here is an example of my own art and my own character in BLEACH (by Tite Kubo):
